Love My Critters

About Us

We started with corn snakes and then expanded into geckos and bearded dragons. Soon we decided to acquire the corn snake business from the guy who introduced me to his docile little girl.

Now our love is all over the house. Every animal that comes thru us gets its own name. We care about our animals so much that if you decide you cannot keep a pet that you get from us (or elsewhere) we will take it back, no questions asked. First and foremost is the wellbeing and care of the animals.

I've always been an animal lover but only cared for dogs and cats. I had interest in other animals but it was a curiosity from a distance.

In 2022 I went to my first repticon in Timonium MD. We went there to see a friend of mine that has a kinkajou (which is in the monkey family). While waiting for him, we were walking around the show looking at all the animals and talking to some of the vendors.

While my wife was talking with one of the vendors I was standing behind her with my arms crossed and looking from a distance. He stops talking to my wife, looks at me and says "you're afraid of snakes, aren't you?" I laughed and asked what gave it away! He said he wanted to introduce me to the snake that got him started. She was an adult scaleless corn snake.

He told me how to hold her. She was very docile and very smooth and soft to the touch. We left there that day with one of her babies.

That's what got us started. In a very short time, we got another scaleless corn snake that was almost the same age but a boy. We thought we might breed them down the road.

And, as they say, the rest is history.

My mom says i was born with an obsession for animals!

My love for reptiles began when I was about 6 when I was first introduced to an iguana. Growing up I've had pets in my care of all kinds. However, due to my mother's fear, I was never allowed to have a snake.

My best friend had a huge Burmese Python. She was beautiful! Even after getting bitten on my neck, I had zero fears of any animal.

I once found a small garter stuck to a sticky mouse trap. I believe I was 12. I spent hours working on freeing it. Then kept it in a shoebox until I knew it was safe to let go. What mom didn't know, didn't hurt right?

Now I have so many of these beauties in my care and my Critter family just continues to grow! I'm so excited to continue on this reptile journey with my best friend, love and business partner.
